Pipeline
Pipeline projects purchase miles of API pipe off the line. Gateway Steel Pipe specializes in wholesaling and distributing surplus pipe from mills. We do provide pipeline contractors with smaller quantiles of pipe for welding test pipe, flume pipe, culverts, bore casing, etc. We work well with project managers and superintendents who need a quick and reliable source for steel pipe.
Piling
Gateway Steel Pipe provides contractors with ASTM A252 steel pipe and structural pipe where specifications allow for Driven Steel Pipe Piling applications. Driven steel pipe piles are used for bridge foundations, dock foundations, building foundations, jetties, piers, platforms, etc.
Steel Dredge Pipe
We provide steel line pipe and fittings for sand slurry dredging operations, open channel dredging projects, dock dredging projects, etc. We provide material that meets required hardness factors and wall thicknesses without blowing project budgets.
Culverts
Heavy Wall Steel pipe is a viable alternative to other pipe materials such as concrete, corrugated metal and plastic.
Heavy Wall Steel pipe allows rugged installation compared to Corrugated Metal, lasts longer and we often provide 4-5 times the steel at competitive prices.
HDPE and Concrete become expensive in large diameters. Heavy Wall Steel and Rail Road tank shells offer a stronger product than HDPE and often times more economical up-front option compared to plastic and concrete at large diameters.
Flume Pipe
Many Pipeline Contractors prefer culvert grade carbon steel pipe for flume on projects where they have multiple low water crossings. Often times, steel pipe can be put in, pulled out and reused later on down the line.
Mining
We provide mining operations with pipe for a multitude of applications including bleeder shafts, drainage, dewatering, culverts, slurry lines, etc.
Rat Hole Casing
Fracking operations require an initial Rat Hole (Kelly Hole) or anchor. Irrigation
The agriculture industry has become focused on water conservation and efficiency.
